Proof of Work Studio does brand and web for funded AI and fintech companies, remote across the UK and Europe, and we're hiring the people who design them.
The studio
We've designed brands for AI models, stablecoin rails and gold that hasn't been mined yet. Founders call us around a raise or a launch, when the brand and the website have to be right and there's no time to do it twice.
So we hire senior people and treat them like it. That means clear briefs, the best AI tools going, days agreed up front and founders who know when to get out of the way.
Open roles
Three roles are open right now. They're all senior and all remote, and someone will actually reply to your email.

You'd run delivery across every live project and own the day-to-day relationship with each client, so the founders can spend their time on creative direction and new business.
It's one role on purpose, because the person who holds the dates should be the person the client talks to.
What you'd own
- The Notion board and Float, so everyone on the team knows their priorities for the day
- Briefs for designers and freelancers, each with a deliverable, a deadline and a budget
- Checking work against the brief and the SOW before it reaches a founder
- A written update to every client every week, and every date said on a client call
- The scope, so anything outside the SOW is priced and agreed before the work starts
- Milestone invoices, and chasing anything overdue
What we need from you
- Five or more years running client projects at an agency or studio, with at least two at senior level
- Several clients at once, including the one asking for round four on a two-round project
- Clear, short writing, because most of the job happens in Slack, email and briefs
- Confidence talking about money and scope with founders and senior marketing leads
- Comfort with AI tools, because you'd use them every day

You can move a delivery date, hold work until a change is agreed and price a change request from the rate card without asking us first.

We're building a bench of senior freelance brand designers we can call on when projects land. Being on it means we hold your rate and availability and come to you first when the work fits, with no exclusivity and no retainer.
Our brand sprints take a company from positioning to a full identity system, then carry it across websites, decks and product. The clients are technical, from stablecoin infrastructure to AI agents, so you need to understand a product before you draw it.
What we need from you
- Five or more years in brand or identity design, with at least two at senior level
- At least three identity systems you took from start to finish, showing the system and not only the logo
- Expert Figma, including component and variable systems
- Strong typography, which is the fastest way we tell senior from mid level
- You invoice as a business or a registered sole trader

You'd design product interfaces for AI tools and financial products, from agent interfaces and dashboards to onboarding flows and design systems. Engagements run two to eight weeks, and some clients keep coming back.
We want to see how AI tools fit into your own process, so if you prototype in v0, Cursor, Claude Code or Figma Make, show us the output.
What we need from you
- Five or more years in product design, with at least two at senior level
- At least two complex product case studies that show the reasoning, not only the final screens
- Expert Figma, with auto layout, variables, components and prototyping
- AI tools in your daily workflow, and the output to prove it
- You invoice as a business or a registered sole trader
