FAQ

Questions.

What is included in an AI brand engagement? +

The two-week Brand Sprint delivers positioning, narrative, identity system, type and colour, logo suite, brand guidelines, and a launch-ready hero. The Web Package ships a marketing site in two to four weeks with the model or agent explainer, benchmark and eval section, docs entry-point, and enterprise-ready credibility blocks already built. Add the Growth retainer for ongoing product UI extensions, ad creative, content, and conference assets once you are live. Most AI clients run all three back-to-back into launch.

What does it cost? +

The Brand Sprint is $15,000 fixed. The Web Package runs $10,000 to $20,000 depending on scope. The Growth retainer starts at $7,000 per month and scales with launch and product cadence. Fees are GBP or USD from a UK Ltd. We have worked with AI teams incorporated in the US, UK, and Europe.

Can you make the brand feel less AI-generic? +

That is most of the brief. Honest answer is it takes deliberate positioning, not just stripping the gradient and the orb. We do that work upfront in the strategy phase. The visual system follows from the position you actually own, which is usually the one your competitors are too lazy to claim.

Who runs the work? +

Charlie Simpson and David Henshaw, founder-led every engagement. There is no junior account manager between you and the work. Both have 15-plus years inside tech and creative leadership. You meet the people doing the work on day one and you keep meeting them through to launch.

How fast can we start? +

Usually within one to two weeks of signing. We run two engagements concurrently maximum, which keeps quality high and timelines tight. If you are pacing toward a model release, a YC demo day, or a fundraise, tell us the deadline on the first call and we will tell you straight whether the calendar works.

We are pre-seed. Is that too early? +

Probably yes for the full Brand Sprint. We work best with seed-funded teams who have validated the wedge. We can run a half-day positioning workshop for pre-seed founders and pick up the brand work later, once you have moved from a deck to a product and a first set of customers.

What do you need from us to start? +

A founder and a technical lead on the kickoff call, your existing pitch deck and positioning notes, and access to whichever model, agent, or product surface we will be designing around. We handle research, writing, and visual work. You give us product truth, the customer evidence, and feedback in 48-hour cycles. That is the rhythm that ships in two weeks.

How do you handle technical credibility on the site? +

We design the structure for it. Research links, model architecture explainers, benchmark and eval tables, latency and cost charts, technical blog, docs entry. Then we either write it with your team or hand the structure over for your CTO to fill in. Buyers in AI scan for technical depth before they read marketing copy, and the page has to reward that.

Do you design for agent-first or LLM-app interfaces? +

Yes. We have shipped agent UIs, chat interfaces, and dev-tool consoles for AI products this year. Chat input is a deceptively small surface, the rest is state, tool calls, memory, and citations. We design the whole loop, not just the bubble. For pure agent work, the AI agent design agency page goes deeper.

We use AI tools internally. Is that a problem? +

No. Most studios do now, including us. We do not use Midjourney for client logos or final visual identity. We use AI for research, draft copy, and image moodboards. Final work is human and final review is human.

Do you work with agentic AI, infrastructure, or applied research teams? +

Yes. OSMI is decentralised AI infrastructure. Binsr Inspect is applied AI for home inspection. We have shipped under NDA for two more vertical AI teams this year. Same applies to AI agents, model layers, and dev-tool platforms.

Can you design for enterprise AI buyers? +

Yes. The B2B AI buyer scans for security posture, data residency, eval methodology, and pricing transparency before anything else. We build trust pages, security pages, customer logo walls, integration grids, and case study modules into the standard Web Package when the audience is enterprise. Less consumer hero animation, more credibility architecture.

Do you work with non-English-language-first AI teams? +

Yes. Three of our last seven projects had non-UK or non-US founding teams. Brand work is delivered in English. We can adapt for localised launches in French, German, Spanish, or Mandarin if there is an in-house native speaker on your side to review.

Can you ship under EU AI Act constraints? +

Yes. Where the Act forces disclosure, transparency notices, or risk-tier labelling on the marketing site, we design those in rather than retro-fit. We have shipped under live legal review four times this year for crypto, and the mechanics translate directly. You drive the language, we adapt the layouts.

What if we already have a brand and just need a website? +

The Web Package stands alone. We work to your existing guidelines, identity, and tone of voice. Two to four weeks from kickoff to live site. If the brand needs a tune-up alongside the site, we can bolt on a positioning sprint without committing to a full rebrand.

What happens after the launch? +

Most clients move into a Growth retainer. Ongoing brand stewardship, product UI extensions, content support, ad creative, conference assets, founder content. From $7,000 a month. The retainer keeps the studio embedded so you do not have to brief a new team every time you ship a model release, a fundraise, or a product surface.

How is this different from a generic design agency? +

We only work with funded technology companies in AI, fintech, and crypto. You will not waste week one explaining what an inference layer is, why an agent platform brand differs from a SaaS brand, or what your enterprise buyers will scrutinise. AI-native team, fluent in the moves your audience already knows, and the only AI-heavy portfolio in the room.
